Eliza Squibb

Faculty Advisor

Eliza Squibb is a seasoned educator currently serving as a Lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where co-instruction of the D-Lab classes "Design" and "Leadership in Design" takes place. At the Rhode Island School of Design, Eliza serves as a Faculty Advisor and co-teaches biomimicry workshops, while also fulfilling roles as an Instructor for the Project Open Door college access program and a Critic in the Textile Department focusing on Digital Textile Design. Previous experience includes co-founding ZTwist Design as Art Director and serving as Executive Director for the GAIA Vaccine Foundation. Eliza has also instructed in the RISD PreCollege program, developing courses in Design Foundations. Eliza holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fiber, Textile, and Weaving Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design, obtained in 2013.
