Kerci Marcello Stroud

Kerci Marcello Stroud is the current Chief Marketing & Communications Officer at Rhode Island School of Design. From June 2008 to September 2013, they served as the VP of Communications for Teach for America. Prior to that, they were the Chief of Staff for New York City Council Member Bill de Blasio from January 2006 to December 2006, and the District Director from January 2003 to December 2005. In 2007, they were an Education Pioneers Fellow at the Office of Communications for Boston Public Schools. From January 2005 to December 2005, they served as the Election Day Director for Dan Garodnick for New York City Council. From January 2000 to December 2003, they were a Producer for iVillage.com.

Kerci Marcello Stroud attended Duke University for both their undergraduate and graduate studies, earning a B.A. in public policy before completing a Master of Public Policy with a focus on public policy analysis. Kerci also attended Harvard University for a Radcliffe Publishing Course in book, magazine, and online publishing.
