Margot McIlwain Nishimura currently serves as the Dean of Libraries at Rhode Island School of Design, overseeing strategic direction for the Fleet Library and associated resources since July 2018. Prior to this role, Margot held various prominent positions, including Interim Dean of Libraries at Newport Restoration Foundation and Director of Museums/Deputy Director for Collections, Programming, and Public Engagement, where significant increases in attendance were achieved through innovative programming.
