Paolo Cardini

Paolo Cardini is a distinguished academic and professional in industrial design, currently serving as Graduate Program Director and Full Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design since August 2014. Cardini has extensive experience in program leadership, graduate student advising, and curriculum development, having also held positions at renowned institutions including Politecnico di Milano and Virginia Commonwealth University Qatar. Additionally, Cardini has contributed to industry innovation through roles such as Chief of Product Design at Tigeraire and Research Leader for Hyundai Motor Company. With degrees in Industrial and Product Design from Politecnico di Milano, Cardini has furthered expertise through professional training in environmental modeling and shoe making.
