Steven Johnson

Steven Johnson is a seasoned facilities management professional with extensive experience in overseeing operations and managing teams. Currently serving as the Structural Trades & Grounds Manager at the Rhode Island School of Design since August 2014, Steven leads a dedicated team while providing exceptional customer service to the RISD community. As a Co-Owner of Saltitude Himalayan Salt Cave, established in 2017, Steven contributes to creating a tranquil and healing environment for guests. Prior experience includes a role as Maintenance Director at ABM Group LLC from June 2004 to August 2014, where responsibilities included managing facility operations for multiple buildings and overseeing non-profit youth athletic facilities, as well as a similar role at the YMCA from October 1998 to June 2004, responsible for the maintenance of a large facility.
