Thilo Hanemann

Thilo Hanemann is a Partner at Rhodium Group, a global strategic advisory firm. Thilo focuses on advising clients on their China strategies, economic and financial developments, and investment opportunities.

Previously, Hanemann was a Research Assistant at the Freie Universität Berlin, Jean Monnet Centre where they worked on EU-China relations. Thilo also worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Nanjing University, German-Chinese Institute for Legal Studies, where they researched Chinese law and taught German to Chinese law students.

Hanemann has a deep understanding of the Chinese economy and has advised numerous companies on their China strategies. Thilo is a regular commentator on China's economy and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Bloomberg, Reuters, and other media outlets.

Hanemann studied international and public affairs at Columbia University, political science and economics at Freie Universität Berlin, and Mandarin at Nanjing University.
