Zak Nizam has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Zak began their career with the United States Air Force as a Command & Control Operations Specialist, where they managed and performed activities within command posts and command centers, providing command, control, communications, and information support. In 2020, they joined Volt Workforce Solutions as an Administrator, Sub-Contractor for Raytheon, Assistant Project Manager, Logistics Asset Manager, Escort Specialist, and communicator with stakeholders regarding project needs and goals. Later that year, they moved to Constellation West as a Data Management Analyst, providing subject matter expertise in conducting systems analysis, technical analysis, solution integration, operations assessment, operations analysis, risk management, requirements identification, requirements advocacy, intelligence assessments, technology identification, identifying future concepts and architectures, and other assigned tasks. In 2022, they began working at Rhombus Power Inc. as a Site Lead, managing the delivery of complex enterprise AI software deployments, collaborating with customers to craft compelling use cases, and leading the engagement team to perform implementation activities.

Zak Nizam has an education history that includes a High School Diploma from Park Vista Community High School, which they obtained in 2012, and they are currently enrolled in the Community College of the Air Force. Zak also holds several certifications, including a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) from the Project Management Institute, obtained in June 2021; an AtHoc Admin Certification from BlackBerry AtHoc, obtained in March 2014; a Command & Control Certificate from the United States Air Force, obtained in February 2014; a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, obtained in June 2022; a Top Secret/SCI Clearance from the United States Department of Defense, obtained in February 2020; and a Computer Security (COMSEC) Responsible Officer from the United States Air Force, obtained in June 2019.
