Julie Locke is a partner at RHR International, where she brings nearly two decades of experience partnering with venture capital firms and founders building disruptive technology organizations to the Hypergrowth practice area. As a skilled consultant and coach, she partners with leaders building cultures of trust, constructive debate, accountability, commitment, and results.

Julie is passionate about working with clients that are fundamentally committed to integrity, transformation, and transparency. She has a keen understanding of complex business and operating models and deep expertise across multiple functions in enterprise, SaaS, and consumer technology and biotech. With a systems and strengths-based approach, she coaches teams and individuals as they uncover counterproductive patterns and processes that unwittingly undermine leadership and organizational health and supports them as they take action steps toward growth and resilience.

Combining international development, psychology, executive search and coaching, Julie’s career has focused on helping others discover how, when, and why she change both as individuals and as organizations. Her coaching and leadership development approach was the cornerstone of her work as a partner in Silicon Valley executive search, where she recruited top-two-percent leadership to C-suite and vice-president-level roles for game-changing companies.

​Julie holds a master’s degree in psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies, a master’s degree in international relations from the University of South Carolina, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from Furman University, where she was also awarded Phi Beta Kappa. She completed three years of advanced training in treating trauma from Somatic Experiencing International, has an advanced certification in personal and executive coaching from the College of Executive Coaching, and is certified in the administration of several additional Level B psychometric assessments.
