Alexandru Pastrav DipWSET serves as Group Head of Wines and Group Head Sommelier/Wine Buyer at Rhubarb Hospitality Collection since June 2015. Prior roles include Head Sommelier at Harvey Nichols Fifth Floor Restaurant and Operations Manager at The Victoria Hotel & Restaurant. Alexandru has extensive experience as Head Sommelier at both Pennyhill Park and Danesfield House Hotel & Spa. Educational qualifications include a WSET Diploma in Wines and Spirits from WSET London and certification as a Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers, alongside bachelor's degrees in Marketing Management and Humanities from Spiru Haret University and Benjamin Franklin College, respectively.
