Kristina Barakov, PharmD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare settings. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Pharmacy Intern at Pepperell Family Health Mart Pharmacy. In 2016, they served as a Pharmacy Intern at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham. In 2017, they were a Medical Affairs Intern at Alkermes. In 2018, they gained experience as an extern in different companies, including Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Sanofi Genzyme, and the FDA. In 2019, they became an Adjunct Faculty at MCPHS University while also working as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in Global Medical Affairs: Rare Diseases at Sanofi Genzyme. Their latest positions include being a Senior Manager and later an Associate Director in Medical Communications at Rhythm Pharmaceuticals Inc., starting in 2021.

Kristina then pursued their Doctor of Pharmacy - PharmD degree from the University of Connecticut, which they obtained in 2019. Additionally, they received various certifications, including Immunization Training for Pharmacists from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and an AHA HeartSaver CPR AED Certificate from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in 2017. Kristina also holds pharmacy intern licenses in both Massachusetts and Connecticut, obtained in 2015.
