Nathan Gnanasambandam

Nathan Gnanasambandam currently serves as the Vice President of Artificial Intelligence at RhythmX AI, starting in September 2024. Prior to this role, Nathan held several positions, including Chief Technology Officer and Chief Data Science Officer at HealthPointe Solutions from January 2018 to August 2024, where responsibility included the development of explainable AI for healthcare providers and payers. Nathan's earlier experience includes serving as Vice President of Operational Analytics and Data Science Innovation at UnitedHealth Group from January 2015 to December 2018, leading product strategy and innovation. Additionally, Nathan was a visiting professor at The State University of New York, focusing on healthcare analytics and data science. Nathan's career began at PARC/Xerox Research, where contributions included analytics research and the development of scalable computing algorithms. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Binghamton University.
