Mari Seeba

Mari Seeba is an accomplished professional in the field of information security, currently serving as a PhD student at the University of Tartu Institute of Computer Science since May 2020, focusing on security level evaluation. Mari has extensive experience in leadership roles, including President and Leading Cybersecurity Expert at the Estonian Information System Authority since July 2019, where responsibilities include developing the Estonian Information Security Standard and security evaluation instruments. Since 2007, Mari has contributed to ISACA Estonia Chapter as Vice President and Program Chair. Previous experience includes Information Security Specialist at the University of Tartu, and over a decade at Cybernetica AS, where Mari led the organization to achieve ISO27001 certification in 2017. Educational achievements include a MSc in Computer Science and a BSc in Physics from the University of Tartu, both earned cum laude, along with a silver medal from Keila 1. Keskkool.
