Investigations and Relations

The Investigations and Relations team at the Recording Industry Association of America® (RIAA) is responsible for protecting the intellectual property rights of artists and music labels through diligent investigations of online and offline infringements. They also manage relationships with artists, industry stakeholders, and the media to effectively communicate RIAA initiatives and certifications, such as Gold® and Platinum® awards. This team conducts e-commerce investigations, offers consultative expertise, and fosters positive industry relations to uphold the creative and financial integrity of the music industry.
