Laura Scales Dempsey MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Laura started their career in 1994 as an Account Representative at AutoTrader.com. From 1996 to 1998, they worked as a Partner at Halo Fiber Optics, where they managed employees and bid on outside plant fiber optic projects.

In 2000, Laura joined Reed Construction Data and served as a National Key Accounts Sales Executive. Laura then moved on to RSMeans, a division of The Gordian Group, where they held the position of Director Consulting & Analytics from 2000 to 2016. During this time, they focused on new business development, strategic relationships, and market research.

In 2011, Laura joined iDatix Corporation as a Direct Sales Manager, specializing in enterprise-class ECM & Workflow software solutions. Laura consulted with clients to increase efficiency and productivity, resulting in lower operating costs and increased profits.

Laura returned to RSMeans in 2016, this time as the Director Corporate Accounts. Laura conducted market analysis, developed go-to-market strategies, and successfully generated new revenue streams.

Currently, Laura is associated with RIB North America as the VP Enterprise Sales. Laura joined the company in 2017 and is responsible for transforming the Owner Channel to an enterprise team targeting large organizations in various sectors such as SLED, Higher Ed, Healthcare, Federal, and F1000. Under their leadership, the company has achieved triple-digit revenue growth year over year.

Laura Scales Dempsey obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology & Philosophy from Agnes Scott College in 1999. Laura later pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they completed Professional Sales Training in 2002 and participated in a program on Women in Global Leadership at Smith College/Tuck University in 2005.
