Dason Vela

Dason Vela is a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in the telecommunications and networking industries, currently serving as the Regional Sales Director for ANZ and Pacific Islands at Ribbon Communications since November 2025. Prior to this role, Dason held positions as Sales Manager at Adtran from January 2023 to November 2025 and at ADVA from January 2019 to November 2025, earning multiple accolades for excellence in sales performance. Dason's career also includes significant roles at Telstra Wholesale, where responsibilities ranged from Account Management to Senior Technical Sales Specialist, alongside previous experience at Shaw Communications, Foster's Group, and various other technology-focused companies. Dason holds multiple degrees in Engineering, Information Technology, and Project Management, complemented by business education from AGSM @ UNSW Business School.
