David Spence

David Spence has a extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. David currently serves as a Senior Product Line Manager at Ribbon Communications since 2023. Prior to this, they were the Owner of realtech Consulting since 2005.

David has also held positions in various companies such as Kandy Communications, an AVCTechnologies company, where they worked as the Director of Product Management from 2021 to 2023. David also worked as the Director of Product Management and Senior Product Manager at Martello Technologies from 2018 to 2021.

Before Martello Technologies, David worked as a Technical Account Manager at Voysis IP Solutions from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they were a Technical Marketing Manager at Espial from 2017 to 2018, where they were responsible for developing and managing customer communications and driving new functionality into the product.

David also has experience in product management and sales at Fuze, Bell Business Markets, and Mitel. At Fuze, they served as a Product Manager - Cloud SaaS - Unified Communications, Contact Centres, and Hardware from 2016 to 2017. At Bell Business Markets, they worked as a Sales Specialist - Unified Communications from 2012 to 2015. And at Mitel, they held various roles including Product Manager - Unified Communications, Senior Solutions Architect, and Senior Sales Engineer from 1998 to 2012.

David Spence attended Sir Robert Borden from 1982 to 1991. David then enrolled in the University of Guelph from 1989 to 1993, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree.
