Gerard Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Gerard is currently working as a Global Technical Support Engineer at Ribbon Communications since 2020. Prior to that, they worked at ECG, Inc. from 2016 to 2020, initially as an NSOC Tier 1 Agent, then as an NSOC Tier 2 Agent, and finally as an NSOC Shift/Training Lead. At ECG, Inc., Gerard provided support for VoIP and data networks using Ribbon Communications/Edgewater Networks products, trained NSOC agents, and developed training materials.

Before joining ECG, Inc., they were employed at Global Sportsman's Network as a Senior Developer from 2015 to 2015. Prior to that, they worked at Azalea Health as an Interface Developer from 2013 to 2015.

In 2009, Gerard worked at PsyberGaming, LLC as a System Security/Programmer, where they developed scripts and software for game server creation and security.

Their earliest work experience was with the United States Air Force, where they served as a Munitions Systems Journeyman from 2002 to 2006.

Gerard Thomas attended Wiregrass Georgia Technical College from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Computer Programming.
