Janusz Rys

Janusz Rys has over 20 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. Janusz began their career at USRobotics as a System Test Engineer in 1996. From 1997 to 2003, they worked at 3Com as a Technical Lead, managing the testing process and product deployments. Janusz then joined UTStarcom as a Senior Engineer, where they focused on system design, performance tuning, and optimization of messaging systems. In 2009, they joined Network Equipment Technologies as a Test Engineer, responsible for the design and evaluation of a multi-function appliance. From 2012 to 2017, they worked at Sonus Networks as a Principal QA Engineer, specializing in Session Border Controller testing and creating automated test libraries. Janusz is currently employed at Ribbon Communications as a Verification Engineering Sr. Tech Specialist, overseeing functional and system testing of Virtual Session Border Controllers and automating test cases.

Janusz Rys started their education in 1982 at AGH University of Krakow, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Electronic Technology. Janusz completed their studies in this field in 1990. Later, in 1994, Janusz attended the Illinois Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering degree, concluding their studies in 1996.

In addition to their formal education, Janusz Rys obtained an Associate's Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University School of Business in October 2008.
