John Middleton has a strong background in sales and leadership roles in the technology industry. John currently serves as the Sales Vice President, IP Optical at Ribbon Communications. Prior to joining Ribbon Communications in 2020, John worked as the Sales Vice President & Managing Director at Tech SalesFocus from 2018 to 2020. In this role, they focused on developing successful go-to-market sales strategies for technology startups and high-growth companies in Canada and the USA. Before that, John held positions as Sales Vice President at Casa Systems, Inc., Country Manager at Affirmed Networks, Director of Service Provider Sales at Sonus, and Country Manager at Acision, LLC. John also worked at Alcatel-Lucent, Juniper Networks, and Nortel, where they held various sales and account management roles and was recognized as top talent. Overall, John has a proven track record of successfully growing businesses and developing strong relationships with technology businesses and end customers.

John Middleton completed an Executive Program in Sales Management at Queen's University in 2008. From 1999 to 2002, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications and Network Management from Syracuse University. Prior to that, from 1996 to 1999, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management from Eastern University.
