Mark Callahan has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Mark started their career at Telstra in 1990, where they worked as a Voice Network Planner for 10 years. In 2000, they transitioned to Nortel and held various positions, including Services Sales Support, Services and Implementation Consultant, and Business Development Support. Mark then became the Services Sales Manager ANZ at Nortel, a role they held from 2007 to 2010. Mark joined Genband in 2010 and served as a Major Bids Presales Services, Solution Engineer, and then as a Commercial/Bid Manager from 2012 to 2017. Mark later joined Ribbon Communications in 2017 as a Senior Sales Engineer and also worked as a Commercial/Bid Manager for a brief period in the same year.

Mark Callahan completed their education in a chronological order. From 1986 to 1989, they attended The University of Salford, where they earned a BEng degree in Electronic Communications, with a specialization in Electrical, Electronic, and Communications Engineering. Additionally, during the same period, Mark also obtained another BEng degree in Electronic Communications from The University of Salford.

Later, in 1997, they enrolled at Deakin University, where they completed a Graduate Diploma in Technology Management from 1997 to 1999.

In terms of additional certifications, Mark obtained the Azure Concepts certification from Linux Academy in January 2019.
