Paul Kratz

Paul Kratz has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Paul started their career in 1984 as a Software Engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation. From 1991 to 1995, they worked as a Knowledge Engineer at Cray Research. In 1998, they joined 2nd Century Communications as the Director of Information Technology.

In 2003, Kratz became the CTO & VP of Engineering & Operations at CommX, where they managed the Broadsoft softswitch and related network. Paul held this role until 2010 when they transitioned to the role of CTO & VP of Engineering.

In 2010, Kratz joined Ribbon Communications as the Director of Sales Engineering and continued in this position after the company merged. In 2018, they joined Dialogic as the Director of Sales Engineering.

From 2010 to 2015, they also worked at Edgewater Networks as a Senior System Engineer and later became the Director of Strategic & European Sales Engineering in 2016. Currently, Kratz serves as the Chief Field Architect - Edge at Ribbon Communications.

Paul Kratz graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, which they obtained between 1980 and 1983. In addition to their degree, they also hold a certification as an Edgewater Networks EdgeMarc Certified professional, which they obtained in June 2015 from Edgewater Networks institution.
