Pedro Rubio

Pedro Rubio has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Pedro started their career in 1996 as a Development Engineer at Esdras Consulting, where they developed communication protocols for a Metro de Madrid stations project. In 1997, they joined Alcatel as a Development Engineer, where they worked on the craft terminal development for the Alcatel Litespan 1540 V5. 2 Access Node. Pedro was also responsible for methods and procedures implementation and technical support for System 12 projects in the US. In 2000, they joined Nortel as a Senior Sales Engineer Carrier Voice, where they played a crucial role in business development and technical responsibilities for Telephony and Voice over IP solutions for various customers. In 2010, they joined Genband as a Senior Sales Engineer and worked there until 2017, focusing on sales engineering. Currently, they serve as a Senior Solutions Engineer at Ribbon Communications.

Pedro Rubio obtained their Master's degree in Industrial Engineer with a focus on Electronics from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, which they attended from 1989 to 1996. Pedro also earned a Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) from the University of Cambridge, although the specific dates of their attendance are unknown. In addition to their formal education, Pedro holds a certification in Microsoft Azure, obtained from Microsoft.
