Principal Software Engineer at Ribbon Communications

Vipul Rastogi has a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering and architect field. Vipul started their career at Infosys Limited in 1997 and worked as a Software Engineer until 1999. From there, they joined Ind-Telesoft (now onmobile) as a Senior Software Engineer, primarily focused on class 4 soft switch development for prepaid and collect call functionalities.

In 2001, they moved to AGNITY, Inc as a Technical Lead, where they designed and developed supplementary services for JAIN/SLEE based java call control platform. Vipul also participated in interoperability with partner vendors.

After AGNITY, Inc, Vipul joined Samsung Electronics as a Senior Engineer from 2005 to 2008. Following that, they worked at Avaya VaaS as a Software Architect, contributing to the conceptualization and design of Avaya's Application server platform.

In 2014, Vipul joined GlobalLogic as a Principal Architect and worked on architecting an online audio/video whiteboard portal platform at AWS for immersive collaboration. Vipul explored WebRTC technology to improve the audio and video experience.

Vipul'smost recent position was at Ribbon Communications, where they started in 2016 as a Principal Software Engineer. In this role, they managed the development of the 4G/5G network analytics probe product and also led the development of the KANDY CPASS infrastructure for a large service provider.

Vipul Rastogi attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee from 1993 to 1997, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electronics and Communication.
