Jim Audia

Jim Audia has a diverse and extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Jim is currently the EVP Drug Discovery & Early Development and Founding Scientist at FLARE Therapeutics. Prior to that, they founded Audia Consulting, LLC where they served as the President. Jim has also worked as an Entrepreneur In Residence and Consultant at Third Rock Ventures, and as a Senior Advisor in Medicinal Chemistry and Consultant at Karuna Therapeutics.

In addition, Audia has held positions as an Independent Board Director and Scientific Advisor at Ribon Therapeutics and Constellation Pharmaceuticals. At Constellation Pharmaceuticals, they were also the Chief Scientific Officer. Jim served as the Executive Director at the Chicago Biomedical Consortium.

Earlier in their career, Audia worked at Eli Lilly & Company, where they held roles as a Distinguished Scholar and Executive Director of Discovery Chemistry. Jim focused on small molecule drug discovery in neuroscience and oncology.

Audia began their career as a Post Doc at Yale University.

Jim Audia obtained their BS and Ph.D. degrees in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina, where they attended from 1975 to 1985.
