Mateo Chaskel

Mateo Chaskel is a seasoned professional with an extensive background in strategy and business analytics, currently serving as the Senior Director of Strategy and Business Analytics at Ric Energy Group since February 2024. Previously, Mateo held multiple leadership roles at UGE from September 2009 to February 2024, including Managing Director for the USA and Global Director of Development, where responsibilities included overseeing project development, finance, and regulatory matters to ensure successful project transitions. Mateo also served as Director of Operations, focusing on efficiency and high-level strategy, and as Assistant Vice President of Engineering, managing product integration and system design. Mateo holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia Engineering and completed high school education at Colegio Nueva Granada.
