Milcho Hekimov

Milcho Hekimov has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and quality assurance. Milcho is currently a Co-Founder at Foothold Security since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Ricardo AG as a Senior QA Engineer starting from January 2022. Milcho also served as the Chief Technology Officer at Quality House from July 2020 and continues to work as a Senior Test Consultant there since November 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Part-time Lecturer at УНИБИТ from October 2021. Milcho has also held positions at Isobar Commerce (formerly eCommera) as a Senior Software Test Engineer, Strypes as a Software Test Engineer, and Dalia Research as a Software Test Engineer, all working under Quality House as an employee. Milcho also worked as a Penetration Tester for a Confidential Project and held an Erasmus Internship at the University of Szeged. Milcho has extensive experience in test automation, creating load tests, integrating network scanners, and conducting security tests.

Milcho Hekimov completed their Master's degree in Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology from the University of Ruse in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in the same field of study from the University of Ruse in 2015. In terms of additional certifications, they earned the Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE) certification from Offensive Security in January 2022. Milcho also holds the Advanced Level Technical Test Analyst (CTAL) certification from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board, obtained in December 2019. Furthermore, Milcho is certified as an ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level, achieved in January 2017, and a Certified Ethical Hacker v10, obtained in November 2018.
