Peter Rodriguez

Peter Rodriguez is the current dean of the Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University. Peter previously served as the senior associate dean for degree programs and chief diversity officer at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia from June 2003 to June 2016. In this role, they led all principal administrative and operational units for the Darden School's three MBA program formats, headed the strategy development for the MBA programs, led the school's global strategy and served as Chief Diversity Officer. The scope of this role was broad and included accountability for the Office of Admissions, Career Development Center, IT, the Office of Student Affairs, Financial Aid, the Registrar, Darden Media and MBA Operations.

Peter Rodriguez has a PhD in Economics from Princeton University, a Master's Degree in Economics from Princeton University, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Texas A&M University.

Peter Rodriguez reports to Amy Dittmar, Provost. A direct report to Peter Rodriguez is and George J. Andrews III - Associate Dean. They are on a team with Susan Keech Mcintosh - Interim Dean of the School of Social Sciences, John J. Casbarian - Interim Dean of the School of Architecture, and Bridget Kathleen Gorman - Dean of Undergraduate Education.
