The board of directors at Rice University has a history of members who have experience in various industries and levels of education. Some examples of these experiences include being a member of the Board of Directors of the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, being the President of the Association of Rice Alumni, and having a Chair position on the City of Dallas Planning Commission. The education histories of members on the board range from completing a degree at Rice University to having a law degree from the University of Houston College of Law.
