Alan Mizimakoski

Alan Mizimakoski is an educational leader with extensive experience in various roles within the academic field. Currently serving as the Academy Lead at Rich Township High School District 227 since June 2022, Alan previously held the position of Assistant Principal at Washington Twp. Middle/High School from June 2020 to June 2022. Alan's career in education began as an English Teacher at Merrillville High School, where service spanned from August 2010 to June 2020. Alan's educational background includes multiple degrees from Purdue University, featuring a Bachelor of Arts in English Secondary Teaching, Creative Writing, Professional Writing, and English, alongside a Master of Arts in Educational Administration and Supervision from Ball State University. Additionally, Alan has training in improvisation and comedy from The Second City Training Center, completed between 2004 and 2008.
