Mike Wilson

Mike Wilson is an experienced educator with a focus on technical subjects and career-oriented teaching. Currently serving as a teacher at Rich Township High School District 227 since August 2015, Mike has taught courses in Metalworking, Manufacturing Technology, Automotive, CAD, Electronics, and Robotics. Additionally, Mike has been involved in sponsoring various clubs including Manufacturing Engineering, Robotics Club, Boardgame Club, Technical Theater Musicals, and Technical Theater Drama. Previous teaching roles include positions at Rich East Campus High School, Rich South Campus High School, Bloom High School, and Bloom Trail High School. Mike has contributed to instructor training at the Midwest Teachers Institute, focusing on using iPads for effective classroom instruction. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Industrial Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Career and Technical Education, complemented by various certifications related to automotive and industrial technology from Universal Technical Institute.
