Tim Murphy

Tim Murphy has over 28 years of work experience in the insurance industry. Tim started their career at Kemper Insurance as a Senior Casualty Underwriter from 1993 to 1995. Tim then moved to Chubb Insurance where they served as a Commercial Lines Underwriter from 1996 to 1997 and later as an Area Loss Control Manager from 1997 to 2015. In 2015, they joined CNA Insurance as a Risk Control Director and was later promoted to Risk Control Consulting Director - Quality Assurance in December 2018. Tim held these positions until April 2021. From 2006 onwards, Tim has also been an active member of the American Society of Safety Engineers, serving as the Past President of the Greater Chicago Chapter from 2011 to 2013. Currently, they are employed as the Senior Director of Risk Management at Richards Building Supply Co.

Tim Murphy began their education at the University of Iowa from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained their Bachelor of General Studies degree. Tim later pursued further education at the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, earning an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General between the years 2001 and 2005. More recently, from 2022 to 2023, Tim attended Drake University to complete a Master of Jurisprudence in Compliance and Risk Management, specializing in Risk Management and Compliance.
