Katrina Jones

Katrina Jones has a robust background in education and research, currently serving as a Biology teacher at Richland School District 400 since 2014. Prior to this role, Katrina worked as a Science Teacher at River's Edge High School from August 2012 to August 2014. Katrina's research experience includes a position as a Graduate Student Researcher in Dr. Qizhi Gong's lab at UC Davis, where the focus was on gene expression profiles of sea anemones from September 2009 to June 2012, and as a Research Technician at The University of Arizona from February 2008 to August 2009, specializing in primary cell culture production and protein assays. Educational qualifications include a Teaching Certificate in Education from Central Washington University, a Master of Science in Cell and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from North Carolina State University.
