Timothy Marney

Timothy Marney is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and economic roles. Currently serving as Chairperson at Short Back & Sidewalks and Richmond Wellbeing, as well as a Board Member of Reconciliation WA, Timothy also holds the position of Chair at the Bankwest Curtin Economics Centre and has been appointed as Chief Economist for The Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia. Previous roles include Consultant for the Department of Justice, Chief Economist and Principal at Nous Group, and Deputy Chair of the Board of beyondblue, among others. Timothy's background includes significant contributions to the Mental Health Commission of Western Australia and the Department of Treasury Western Australia, where the role of Under Treasurer was held for nearly a decade. Timothy Marney has an academic association as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Murdoch University.
