Lajos Kovács

Lajos Kovács has been a key figure at Richter Gedeon Nyrt. since November 2000, currently serving as the Head of Innovation Engineering, where responsibilities include managing enterprise architecture related to Information Technology, Manufacturing Technology, and Data Science, while also acting as a trusted advisor to the board. Previously, Lajos held positions such as Head of IT Strategy, overseeing significant growth in the IT organization, and Head of Software Development, where strategic decisions were made regarding investments and project governance. Additional roles included Project Manager, successfully leading numerous SAP implementations and custom application developments, and Head of Medical IT, focusing on user support within Medical Affairs. Prior to this, Lajos served as Co President of the IT committee at NVMO Hungary from October 2016 to February 2019. Lajos holds a college degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Óbuda University, completed between 2003 and 2007.
