Katie K.

Katie K. is an experienced communications professional with a diverse background in journalism, writing, and educational support. Currently serving as a Teaching Assistant at Simon Fraser University since September 2023, Katie K. has also held multiple roles at the Rick Hansen Foundation, including Writer and Assistant Writer since October 2021. Previous experience includes reporting for Gotham Gazette and serving as an Account Coordinator at Momentum Communications Group. Katie K. holds a Master of Science in Journalism and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California, along with a Certificate in Creative Writing from Simon Fraser University. Additional educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts from Queen's University and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School.
