David Johanson

David Johanson has extensive work experience in the legal field. David is currently an Official Member of Lawyers of Distinction since 2021. Prior to that, they served as the President & Majority Equity Shareholder at RICOR Group starting from 2018. From 2014 to 2021, Johanson held the position of Partner-in-Charge of Napa Office at Hawkins Parnell & Young, LLP, where they managed a team and provided legal assistance to clients in various corporate and employment matters nationwide. Before that, they were an Equity Partner at Jackson Lewis LLP from 2012 to 2014. Johanson also has experience as the Managing Partner at Johanson Berenson LLP from 1997 to 2012, where they advised clients on corporate, business, and employee ownership matters. David was a Partner at Graham & James LLP from 1995 to 1997 and a Senior Associate Attorney at Ober, Kaler, Grimes & Shriver from 1988 to 1993. Johanson began their career as a Tax Consultant at Ernst & Whinney from 1986 to 1987.

David Johanson graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1983 with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree in Political Science and Accounting, achieving Summa Cum Laude honors. David later attended the University of Minnesota Law School, receiving their Juris Doctor degree with Cum Laude distinction in 1986.
