Nelle Pierson

Nelle Pierson has worked in various roles in the transportation and politics industries since 2010. Nelle began their career as a Political Affairs Intern at Axiom Strategies, Inc. in 2010, followed by an Internship at the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2011, they worked as a Bike Program Intern at the DDOT Bicycle and Pedestrian Program, and as an Outreach Coordinator at the Washington Area Bicyclist Association. In 2014, they were a Research Assistant aboard the 38' R/V Bangarang in British Columbia. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at JUMP Bikes in various roles, including Local Marketing Lead, Director of Communications and Community, and Director of External Affairs. Nelle is currently the Head of Strategy at Ride Report.

Nelle Pierson obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Colorado State University in 2010, with a minor in Economics and a Certificate of Environmental Affairs. In 2013, they became a League Certified Instructor from the League of American Bicyclists.
