Babak Khademi began their career in 2004 as a Technical Program Manager for PICE Electric Co, Ltd. In 2008, they moved to Analog Devices as a Product Marketing Lead. In 2010, they joined Texas Instruments as a Business Development Lead. In 2013, they became the Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Tripolette, Inc., and also held roles as Director of Strategic Accounts - AEC Markets and Senior Customer Success Manager at Bluescape Software. In 2017, they began working at Ridecell as Director of Strategic Business Development, responsible for developing new business partnerships and driving growth in North America.

Babak Khademi obtained a DELF (Diplôme d'études en Langue Française) from the ILI Language Institute in French Language and Literature between 2001 and 2005. Babak then attended K. N. Toosi University of Technology where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science between 2001 and 2006. In 2007, they earned a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Stanford University. Finally, they attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business and obtained an Entrepreneurship degree between 2013 and 2014. Babak also holds a GSBIgnite Entrepreneurship certification from Stanford Graduate School of Business.
