Tirza Wahrman

Tirza Wahrman is an experienced attorney and court-qualified mediator, currently operating Law Office of Tirza Wahrman, LLC since March 2014, providing counseling and dispute resolution services within the New Jersey court system and privately. In academia, Tirza serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Rider University since January 2023. Leadership roles include serving as the Director of the Environmental Law Section at the New Jersey Bar Association since June 2015 and as a Board Member for Clean Water Action/New Jersey Environmental Federation since December 2013. Previous experience includes tenure as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey from 2002 to 2012, where responsibilities included litigation and contract negotiations for the DEP and Meadowlands Conservation Trust. Additionally, Tirza has held positions at prominent law firms and environmental organizations, and holds a J.D. from Yale Law School and an A.B. in Economics from Barnard College.
