Steve Karkula

Steve Karkula has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry, starting as Director of Developer Relations at Apple Computer. Steve later worked for companies such as Westinghouse, Cylink, Counterpane, Intellitactics, and Check Point Software Technologies, where they were involved in roles related to product management and marketing. At McAfee, they were a Senior Group Product Marketing Manager, and at Hillstone Networks, Inc., they served as Director of Product Marketing and Product Management. Most recently, Karkula worked as Chief Technology Evangelist at Ridge Security Technology Inc. where they were responsible for helping organizations discover threats before they are breached. During their tenure at each company, they played a key role in launching new products, creating marketing strategies, and leading efforts to achieve industry accolades, such as Gartner's Magic Quadrant and NSS Labs certification.
