Michael Bairdsmith possesses extensive experience in the winemaking industry, having served as Assistant Winemaker and Production Assistant at Ridge Vineyards since April 2014. Prior to this role, Bairdsmith worked as an Assistant Planner at Fetzer Vineyards from February 2010 to April 2014 and held the position of Assistant Winemaker at Roshambo Winery from August 2004 to February 2009. Bairdsmith earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Davis, between 1993 and 1997.

Ridge Vineyards
For the past 50 years, Ridge has championed a pre-industrial approach to single-vineyard winemaking, searching California for those rare vineyards where climate, soil, and varietal are ideally matched. Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon account for most of the production; syrah, grenache, and carignane constitute the balance. Known primarily for its red wines, Ridge has also made limited amounts of chardonnay since 1962.
