Troy Patten

Troy Patten is an experienced operations professional with a diverse background in the energy and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as an Operator at Ridgeback Resources Inc since January 2020, Troy has a proven track record in optimizing costs and production, initiating maintenance, and supervising operations. Previous roles include Operations at Cenovus Energy and a focus on operations with ConocoPhillips, where Troy managed well start-ups, conducted facility audits, and played a pivotal role in team training and mentorship. Before entering the energy industry, Troy was the Northside Maintenance Manager/Chief Power Engineer at Weyerhaeuser, overseeing maintenance for complex systems and leading various engineering teams. Troy holds a 3rd Class degree from NAIT and has additional certification in fire safety (NFPA 1081).
