Colby Payne

Colby Payne has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Colby currently holds the position of Director of Product Strategy at Ridgeline, starting in November 2021. Previously, from 2020 to 2021, they served as Vice President of Product Management at Envestnet, Inc, where they led the market data strategy and focused on operational efficiency and cost-effective partnerships. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Vice President of Product Management at Envestnet | Yodlee, leading the data strategy for their cloud-enabled platform for wealth management. Colby also served as a Senior Director of Product Management at the same company from 2015 to 2019, responsible for managing offshore product development and client integrations. Prior to these roles, they held various positions at companies such as InvestCloud, Inc., Advent Software, Xtiva Financial Systems, Morgan Stanley, ePlanning Securities, and R.J. O'Brien, where they gained experience in project management, product ownership, and business analysis.

Colby Payne received a Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from the University of Oregon in the years 1992 to 1996. In addition to their degree, they also obtained certifications in Certified Scrum Product Owner from CollabNet, Inc. in April 2012, Practical Product Marketing from Pragmatic Marketing in January 2008, and Systems Analysis & Design from UC Berkeley Extension in April 2003.
