Trish was the Op-Ed editor of The New York Times for five years. She supervised the staff that reviewed and edited daily opinion pieces for both global and domestic audiences. She expanded the reach of the Times’ digital opinion offerings and won an Emmy for the videos produced by her team. She created the Sunday Review, consistently one of the Times’ most popular sections. Trish was on the Times masthead before she took over the opinion section and oversaw the paper’s feature sections. A reporter and editor at the Wall Street Journal before she joined the New York Times, Trish is the author of Writing to Persuade: How to Bring People Over to Your Side, (W.W.Norton, 2019.)
