Sanne van Meeteren

Sanne van Meeteren serves as a Strategisch communicatieadviseur at RIEC Amsterdam-Amstelland since September 2023. Previously, Sanne held various senior communication advisor roles at Gemeente Amsterdam from September 2017 to September 2023, focusing on healthcare, COVID-19 response, and public space communication. Sanne's experience also includes a brief role as a spokesperson for COVID-19 at GGD Amsterdam in May 2020, and over seven years as a communication advisor and spokesperson at GGD Amsterdam prior to that. Earlier positions include communication advisor at Openbaar Ministerie and beleidsmedewerker communicatie at Gemeente Wormerland. Sanne holds a drs degree in social sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and has completed several courses in communication and new media management.
