Max Schmitt

Max Schmitt is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital, software, and controls management, currently serving as Head Digital, Software & Controls, SVP at Rieter since February 2018. Schmitt has held multiple roles at Rieter, including Vice President for both the Competence Center Software & Controls and the Competence Center Controls, as well as Program Manager and Platform Owner for HMI. Prior to Rieter, Schmitt worked as a Project Manager at Porsche for a brief period and as a Consultant at MHP - A Porsche Company. Schmitt also gained experience at Robert Bosch Venture Capital GmbH while completing a Master's thesis on globalization in venture capital, and has held various roles at MAN, Bosch China, and BW-Bank. Academic credentials include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Technology and Management-oriented Business Administration from the Technical University of Munich.
