Mariana Pérez

Mariana Pérez is a Regulatory Ecotoxicologist at RIFCON GmbH since November 2020, with prior experience as a Data Science Intern at the European Food Safety Authority where responsibilities included data collection for pesticide dossiers. Mariana's academic background includes a Master's degree in Ecotoxicology and Risk Assessment from the University of Koblenz and Landau, alongside a BS in Earth Science from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. Past roles include serving as a Master Thesis Student at UFZ, where research focused on neurotoxicity assessment using zebrafish, as well as tutoring in complex data analysis. Additional experience encompasses an internship at Eurofins MITOX-Trial Management, IT support at CompuCom, and work as a Teaching Assistant in Earth Science and General Chemistry.
