Liesel J. Schopler

Liesel J. Schopler’s practice is concentrated in broad-based commercial and complex civil litigation. Her experience includes litigating business and corporate/contractual disputes, including False Claims Act cases, business defamation and executive employment claims. Her practice also includes representing clients in consumer class actions and civil rights litigation.

Liesel previously worked in the Washington, D.C. office of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, a global law firm. There she represented clients in the energy industry on a variety of regulatory and litigation matters before the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the Department of Labor (DOL), and the federal courts.

Prior to attending law school, Liesel served as a general aviation officer in the U.S. Navy.

Liesel is a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, District of Columbia Bar Association, Anne Arundel Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, and American Bar Association.
