Simon Bates

Simon Bates is the VP of Science and Technology (RAC) at Rigaku. Simon has over 18 years of experience in the field of science and technology. Prior to joining Rigaku, Simon was a research fellow at Triclinic Labs, where they provided consulting services for the characterization of solid state systems combining both analytical and computational methods. Simon has also worked as a principal at Aptuit Consulting and as a research fellow at SSCI.

Simon Bates has a Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the University of Hull and a B.Sc. in Applied Physics from the University of Hull.

Simon Bates works with Michael Noonan - Semiconductor SBU Manager (RAC), Melvyn Kitagawa - Executive VP (RAH), and Richard Wong - SR VP Pacific Asia OPS (RAH). Their manager is Kent Heath, President & CEO (RAC & RAH).
