Rick Danis

Rick Danis is the SVP of Legal at Rigetti Computing. Rick has over 20 years of experience in the legal field, having worked at Kymeta Corporation, Funko, Nokia, and Yahoo! Inc.

Danis began their career at Yahoo! Inc. in 1999 as a Sr. Legal Director. Rick was with the company for nine years before moving on to Nokia in 2008. At Nokia, they served as Senior Legal Counsel for the Media team in the newly launched online Services group. In this role, they were responsible for managing, coordinating, and reviewing legal issues and negotiating agreements across multiple global teams.

In December 2017, Danis left Nokia to join Funko as Assistant General Counsel. Rick was with Funko for six months before moving on to Kymeta Corporation in May 2018, where they served as EVP, Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary.

Danis joined Rigetti Computing in July 2019 and currently serves as SVP of Legal.

Rick Danis received a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from DePaul University College of Law and a BBA in Accounting from Ohio University.

Their manager is Chad Rigetti, Founder & CEO. Rick Danis works with Nima Alidoust - VP, Strategy & Product, Brian Sereda - CFO, and Jackie Kaweck - SVP, HR.
